Extended Day Academy has no vacancies at this time.
The Florence 1 Schools fall intersession is from October 3 - 7, 2022. It will be held at Carver, Delmae and North Vista, from 7:00am to 5:00pm. The cost is $60 for the week. The applications are available in the EDA office (500 S Dargan St, Rooms 209A & B) and on the EDA website (print and bring to the office to pay). Intersession applications and payments will be received through September 28th from 8am -4pm.

The Extended Day office, 500 S Dargan St will take NEW applications, Monday - Thursday from 9:00a to 12:00n.
Regular payments will be taken on Mondays, between 9:00a and 12:00n.
Returning students, with a student ID, may register online via RYCOR. Students who are new to the Florence 1 Schools district may print and complete the application and bring it to the Extended Day office at 500 S Dargan St, Room 209A-B, Florence, SC.

CCAMPIS Grant-Child Care Access Means Parents in School
Florence Darlington Technical College (FDTC) has a grant (CCAMPIS) for the after-school program. You must attend FDTC to be qualify for this grant and be eligible for the Pell Grant. The misson of the Extended Day Academy is to offer many diverse opportunities for your child to learn skills in mathematics, art, writing, music, technology, sports, and much more! The Extended Day Academy provides a structured place to receive homework assistance, one on one tutoring, a snack, as well as supper.
You may register online via RYCOR or you may visit the Extended Day Administration Office.
We are located at 500 S Dargan St, Florence, SC 29506. Our office hours are 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Thursday.
SC Voucher Program
The Department of Social Service SC Voucher program can help with Child Care financial assistance. The program offers federally funded assistance to qualifying families who are in need of child care in order to work, attend school, or participate in a training program. If you think you may qualify, please visit https://www.scchildcare.org/families/child-care-financial-assistance/ to see if you meet the eligibility criteria. If you feel you may qualify, there is a link to the child care application and the email address where to send the application along with all supporting documentation.
