Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Elizabeth Jackson

My name is Elizabeth Jackson and I have been in education since 1991. I decided to become a teacher so  I could inspire children to believe in themselves and reach their fullest potential.   I have called Timrod my home for 30 years. I have taught child development, kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and LD-Resource.   I also served as Timrod’s Curriculum Coordinator, Instructional Coach, and Assistant Prinicipal.

I received my BS degree in Early Childhood Education from Francis Marion College in 1991, a Masters of Education in Special Education/Learning Disabled from Francis Marion University in 1998, and a Masters in Education Leadership from Coastal Carolina University.  I am a National Board Certified Teacher and received National Board recertification as an Early Childhood Generalist.

One of my favorite quotes is “Learning is a journey, not a destination”.  I believe we should always strive to learn more and become the best person we can be.
