Greenwood is committed to teaching our children healthy habits and encouraging healthy behaviors. We need your support in our efforts by adhering to our healthy snack policy. In the past we have received Bronze recognition from Alliance for Healthier Generations. We continue to use their standards as a guide for classroom parties, treats, and grade level bake sales.
Suggested snacks: Gold Fish, Barnum Animal, Quaker Oat Granola Bars, 100 Calorie Snack Packs, BAKED chips, pretzels, fruit juice popsicles, fresh fruit, pudding or yogurt, fruit cups, cheese and crackers, and fresh vegetables. We strongly ask that you bring no cupcakes, cakes, cookies, or other foods loaded with saturated fats and empty calories.
