Hello,

It is a pleasure to get to teach your child! Here is some background info on me: This is my sixth year teaching at the High School level. In 2014-15 I tought at the University of South Florida. Then 2015-18 I taught at Braulio Alonso High School in Tampa, Florida. After moving to South Carolina I taught 1 year at South Florence High School 2018-2019, and then transfered to West Florence to teach the 2019-2020 school year. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Advanced Topics, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus AB. Currently I look foward to teaching this year of Algebra 2. My experience across all subjects has given me great perespective on what misconceptions students have on various topics, which then allows me to teach and prepare students accordingly. I have bachelors degree in mathematics and a masters degree in math eductation (6-12). 

Ultimately I believe my job consist of providing an environment and opportunity to learn; however it is also important that students learn to take charge and control of their own learning. Because of this philosophy I have high expectations for students and their success. I will guide and direct students along the path to success any chance I get. I really enjoy parent involvement, so please do not hesitate to reach out.
