Hi, I'm Ms. Jordan and I am thrilled to be one of WF's freshman English I teachers.  Welcoming incoming students to West Florence allows me to help set the tone for their years ahead as Knights!

Students in my class will learn about themselves while they learn to think through more challenging reading and writing lessons.  I’ll be helping them make “real world” connections throughout our curriculum.When I look out over the classroom, I see the people they will become.  I see the leaders of tomorrow. I’m excited to be part of that journey. 

I'm a graduate of both Clemson University and the University of SC.  I have an extensive history in Education serving as both an English teacher and a School Counselor for over 20 years.  One unique thing about me is that I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor and have work experience as a mental health clinician.    It’s my classroom philosophy that students don’t learn if they don’t believe their teacher cares.
