Children are the future.  As an educator, it is my duty and responsibility to be an unwavering advocate for young children and their best interests. It is of greatest importance to, first, meet children where they are. Creating a positive and trustworthy relationship is likely to determine how each child will continue learning and growing. Carefully planned learning environments serve not only as a place of learning but a safe place in which young children look forward to attending, each day. Intentionally and carefully planned instruction based on student interest, abilities, strengths, challenges, engagement/meaningful experiences, will serve as the direct scaffolding process indicative of student success. Consistency, flexibility, creativity, differentiation, knowledge of young children/child theory pave a lasting foundation, in which all children become lifelong learners. All children deserve the best education available!
