I began my teaching career in 2007.  I came to Florence 1 Schools and Greenwood Elementary in 2020.  I have taught 4th grade, facilitated a personalized learning lab and a STEAM lab. The 2022-2023 school year brings a new adventure as the Lead Interventionist. 

I have 3 grown boys who I adore and 2 yellow labs that I spoil. I enjoy spending time with my children and their significant others.  If I have spare time, I like to read, garden and watch sports.

My 4th grade teacher, Mr. Mead is my inspiration behind becoming a teacher.  I always knew I wanted to be an educator and I LOVE my job!
