I have been teaching at West Florence High School since the Fall of 1996 (24 years). I currently teach Biology I Honors and Marine Biology. In the past I have also taught: Anatomy, Biology II, AP Biology, Genetics, Bioethics, Field Zoology, Field Biology, and Physical Science. I chose education as a career because I love working with young people and making a difference in their lives. Students taking my classes will learn about themselves and the world around them. 

I have also coached 4 sports teams here at West Florence in the past years. I was the Head Coach of Girls Cross Country for 21 years ('99-'19), Head Coach Of Boys X-Country for 11 years ('09-'19), Head Coach of Girls Track & Field for 13 years ('07-'17 & '19-'20) , and the Head Coach of Boys Track & Field for 1 year (2018). I also served as an Assistant Track Coach for the Gilrs  Team for 7 years and the Boys team for 19 years.
