Bonjour! I'm Melanie McMillan, and I teach third through sixth grade gifted and talented students at North Vista Elementary and Lester Elementary. I also teach Brain Boosters thinking skills to first and second graders.  I majored in English at Converse College and earned a Master of Arts degree in French from the Middlebury School in France.  My focus is on helping students become better thinkers and communicators with a global point of view. I enjoy songwriting and wrote a musical about the habits of success that was featured at the International Conference on Thinking in Miami in 2018. I look forward to an exciting school year as we learn language arts, math, science, social studies, logic, and a little French for good measure!
